PREDICTIONS 2008 - Color Text Have Already Occurred as 2/10; 3/28; 11/1

1. Someone famous will die. (Heath Ledger)
2. There will be a winner and a loser in a general election. (Unless the time travelor Titor's prediction of civil war erupts)
3. There will be a major natural disaster: earthquake, tornado, flood, or draught. (Several of all four)
4. The stock market will rise and fall and then rise and fall and then finally rise and fall...before rising again. (Is it a depressive recession or recessive depression? - Stock Market is fickle and very flighty - people who trust in the market - now there are some weird people...)
5. A public figure will be exposed in a scandal (oh-hum....yet again....politicans in bathroom...shady deals....).
6. A public figure will be found to have lied (well - it election season after all....).
7. A murder or crime will shock the world. (Still up for grabs as a real world shocker....)
8. People will wake up at 3:30 a.m. for no apparent reason.
9. People will see the words "the", "an" and "stop" everywhere.
10. There will be strange lights in the skies. (Can we say Stephensville, TX?)

See how easy it is - generalize and you can have a 100% success factor...as always the devil is in the details. Yet, it interesting how often the random ones did come to pass....hmmmm.

Occasionally my keepers leave the keys to the door of my cell within reach. Grabbing them, I scurry to a computer and share the latest visions, dreams, and otherworldly glimpses that invade my head. I hear them now! They are searching for me, sniffing the night air seeking me like shadow hounds.

Ponder if these are real or products of my fevered imagination...

Official Coldcase Investigations linked my blog entry speculating on an early day serial killer in Oklahoma. I suspect my years of study in the halls of academia (gaining among others a history degree) made it inevitable that I would be intrigued by the "big picture" patterns that seemed to emerge in my research. Yes, research! Did you think I stumbled out in my bunny slippers and pj's to write these thing. Well, actually I do most of the time. Sometimes, however, they herd up all the patients and make us get dressed up and slave away in some coal mine of an office.....we are plotting our revenger however....

PROTOCOLS 101

There are specific protocols that should be followed when doing an on-site investigation. These include: getting permission to be there; allowing no one to smoke on the grounds or in the building; taking before, during and after readings of temperature, EMF, etc.; avoid invading the space more than necessary (by being there you are changing the environment - so reduce that as much as possible for best results).

Some groups are now offering courses to become "Certified Ghost Hunters". As long as they are low cost, encourage the use of standard protocols, and do not promise you your own series on SciFi, I say go for it!
